Why use Edpuzzle?
•Edpuzzle is easy to use and allows teachers to engage students as they watch, particularly useful for while-viewing activities or in flipped classroom setting.
•A nice complement if you want to make sure the videos are being watched and students are grasping key ideas and information.
•There are direct links to assignments for students. They don’t need to log in.
•You can monitor which students have successfully completed a lesson.
A few limitations
•Can’t show different parts of the same video or combine two or more videos into one (you must create assignment for each ‘chuck’ of video).
•No partial voiceovers. You must either record an audio track for the whole entire video or none at all.
•Some schools may not allow students to access Youtube. So you need to download the videos and upload them onto EDpuzzle.
•Use software like Movie maker or iMovie if you want to combine videos.
